A living will is a statutory document that's an instrument whereby you state at such point as your treating physician has said, "There's no reasonable medical probability of your recovery from an accident, an illness, God forbid a coma, that it's your desire that you not be force fed by machines, you be given medication to provide comfort and alleviate pain, but nothing that's going to prolong that process of dying."
